Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and organizes the activities of the Energy Dispatch Department, ensuring the safe and continuous operation of the operational management of the electro-energetic installations related to electricity generation plants;

• Is responsible for the implementation and obtaining the necessary approvals for the operation of the Energy Dispatch Department in accordance with the REGULATION for the authorization and operation of energy dispatch centers (issued by ANRE) and other normative regulations and applicable laws;

• Ensures the leadership and coordination of the energy dispatchers' activity and monitors the compliance with operational procedures and applicable regulations (draws up the organizational chart and description of the dispatch center structure, establishes the personnel requirements and the documents certifying the authorization and qualification of the personnel, draws up the job descriptions for subordinate personnel, draws up and approves the dispatch center's operational regulations, draws up dispatching procedures in operation, in normal and emergency regimes, draws up the business continuity and permanent operation assurance plan, etc.);

• Coordinates the operation of electrical installations under the company's responsibility, in accordance with current legislation and ANRE regulations;

• Monitors the operation of the Electro-energetic System within its area of responsibility and issues necessary operational dispatching measures to maintain operational safety;

• Coordinates the elaboration, updating, and implementation of operational procedures and work instructions specific to dispatching activities;

• Coordinates incident and failure management, ensuring collaboration with distribution operators, the transport operator, maintenance teams, and other involved participants;

• Participates in the planning and coordination of maintenance works and maneuvers in electrical installations and obtains necessary dispatching approvals;

• Monitors compliance with occupational safety and health, fire protection, and environmental protection regulations within the coordinated activities;

• Ensures professional training and periodic evaluation of subordinate personnel;

• Prepares and analyzes reports on the performance of dispatching activities and proposes measures for process optimization;

• Collaborates with competent authorities and operators in the energy sector to comply with legal and contractual obligations;

• Ensures compliance with the provisions of the Technical Code of the Distribution and Transmission Electric Network, ANRE regulations, and applicable internal procedures.

Candidate Profile:

Education

● Completed higher technical education, with a bachelor's degree, in Electroenergetics, Energetics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical fields.

Experience

● Minimum 5 years of experience in the operation of electro-energetic installations.

● Experience in energy dispatching activities and/or coordination of operational activities.

● Experience in a coordination role is an advantage.

Certifications / Authorizations

● Previous authorization/attestation for performing energy dispatching activities, according to the procedures and regulations applicable to the respective system operator or network operator.

● Authorization for operational dispatching of electro-energetic installations (the level corresponding to the installations under responsibility).

● Medically and psychologically fit for carrying out operational dispatching activities.

● Holding other relevant professional authorizations and certifications in the field of electro-energetic installations operation is an advantage. Knowledge and skills

● Knowledge of legislation in the electricity sector and ANRE regulations.

● Knowledge of the Technical Code of the Transmission Electric Network and the rules for operating electro-energetic installations.

● Knowledge of high, medium, and low voltage installations operation.

● Capacity for analysis and rapid decision-making in operational situations.

● Coordination, planning, and organization skills.

● Communication and teamwork skills.

● Knowledge of SCADA/EMS/DMS systems and specific dispatching IT applications is an advantage.

It is required, in the event of an interview, to prepare a short management plan presenting your own vision for improving the efficiency of the Energy Dispatch Department.
