The Construction Director is responsible for establishing the strategy to coordinate, control, and direct the execution of the company's construction projects, ensuring maximum ft²/year production in terms of time, cost, quality, and transparency, always aligned with the overall construction program established. They report directly to the COO and work hand-in-hand with the Real Estate, Earthmoving, Machinery, Supply Chain, and Finance departments, leading project managers, superintendents, and site supervisors on industrial, commercial, residential, and urbanization projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Establish and direct the construction execution strategy to maximize industrial warehouse ft² built per year, meeting time, cost, and quality.
• Plan the administration and control of industrial, commercial, residential, and urbanization projects in all their stages, from initiation to handover and acceptance.
• Design strategic planning and budget application per project, ensuring the necessary resources for its correct execution.
• Approve the correct execution of construction subcontracts, acting as a manager and advisor to project managers, superintendents, and site supervisors.
• Track the management of warranties for delivered projects until the agreed-upon deadlines are met.
• Monitor the coordination and performance of superintendents, site supervisors, and project managers, ensuring a consistent operational line in a safe environment.
• Oversee compliance with industrial safety standards, quality control, and applicable regulations on all construction sites.

Requirements

Education

• Civil Engineering or related degree.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction.
• Indispensable experience in the construction of industrial warehouses and/or industrial parks.
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Experience leading technical and construction teams.

Technical Knowledge

• Planning and control of construction programs.
• Project administration.
• Control of construction costs and budgets.
• Industrial safety regulations in construction.
• Project management systems and ERP.

Software

• Construction control software or ERP, Oracle (desirable)
