We are looking for a Director Data Science who will lead our data science team and drive innovation in data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in leading high-performing teams, developing and implementing data strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business outcomes. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and executing data science strategies that align with Sigmoid’s business objectives; • Leading a team of data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions; • Collaborating with product management and engineering teams to integrate data insights into product roadmaps; • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the organization; • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and analytics. The ideal candidate should have: • A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering; • At least 8 years of experience in leading data science teams and developing data-driven solutions; • Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing; • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; • Familiarity with open-source tools and frameworks such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn; • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
