Commercial Director DIY Stores Development

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the daily activity of the stores and the team under his/her supervision;
• Coordinates acquisitions for the finishes category, based on store needs and commercial objectives;
• Selects and develops relationships with suppliers of finishes products and negotiates commercial conditions;
• Coordinates acquisitions, stocks of product categories specific to finishes and installations, monitors performance indicators;
• Identifies development trends and opportunities (analyzes the market, competition, prices, trends, etc.);
• Coordinates the implementation and development of new products and services;
• Collaborates with suppliers and internal teams to ensure deliveries and resolve operational situations;
• Monitors team performance and ensures compliance with company procedures and standards;
• Presents solutions to management for the permanent improvement of the commercial activity of the DIY division so that objectives are achieved;
• Reports directly to the General Manager on situations regarding sales, acquisitions, stocks, suppliers, the evolution of the finishes category, and identified development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in acquisitions, retail, distribution, or sales;
• Experience in the field of finishes, construction materials, or DIY is a significant advantage;
• Experience in negotiating and managing relationships with suppliers;
• Knowledge of products and trends in the finishes category;
• Skills in analyzing prices, margins, sales, and stocks;
• Ability to identify and develop new commercial opportunities;
• Good negotiation, communication, and organization skills;
• Results-oriented and focused on business development;
• Initiative and decision-making ability;
• PC operating knowledge and experience with ERP/management programs;
• High school or higher education; technical/economic studies are an advantage.
