Director Business Development

Port of Antwerp-Bruges International (POABI) is a subsidiary of Port of Antwerp-Bruges, with the mission to develop a worldwide port network to strengthen both harbor platforms in Antwerp and Bruges. We achieve this through training, consultancy, management, and investment projects. As such, POABI is actively involved as a joint venture partner in the ports of Duqm (Oman), Porto do Açu (Brazil), Lumut (Malaysia), also including terminal and logistics activities in San Pedro (Ivory Coast). We are looking for a Director Business Development who will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving the growth and development of POABI's global network. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in business development, international trade, and logistics, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Director Business Development will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall competitiveness of POABI's global network. This includes identifying new markets, products, and services that align with our mission and values, as well as building partnerships with key stakeholders to drive growth and development. The Director Business Development will also be responsible for managing a team of business development professionals who will support the execution of these strategies.
