As Director Asset Delivery (m/f/d), you will take full responsibility from contract signing onwards for ensuring that it becomes a built, commissioned, and handover-ready plant. You will report directly to the management, take on the functional leadership of an existing small team, and expand it as required by the realization of the growing project pipeline.

Tasks

⚡ Your Tasks

• Planning & Specification – You translate deal parameters and site conditions into a robust planning concept and manage performance specifications as well as external specialist planners and surveyors.
• Tendering & EPC Award – You prepare tenders, compare offers, negotiate and award EPC contracts including time, payment, and warranty arrangements.
• Construction & Commissioning – You oversee construction and commissioning, manage change orders, ensure grid compliance and acceptance, and hand over the plant in a structured manner for ongoing operation (O&M).
• Commercial Management – You are responsible for budget, cost tracking, and change orders per project and make make-or-buy decisions.
• Portfolio & Reporting – You provide a reliable status for each project at all times and lean, investor-ready reporting.
• Team Leadership & Development – Functional and organizational leadership of the Operation Team, including onboarding and further development.

The role grows with our pipeline: from the independent implementation of projects to systematization (LV modules, award criteria, standards) to the needs-based expansion of the existing team. What's important to us: You actively drive project realization yourself and expand the team specifically where implementation requires it.

Qualifications

🎯 Your Profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in project realization, construction management, or EPC management of energy or infrastructure projects – with own implementation experience, not just from a client or controlling perspective.
• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management with a technical background (or comparable technical depth).
• Proficient in using performance specifications, VOB/BGB (German construction contract regulations) contract logic, and tendering processes.
• Experience in coordinating planners, construction trades, and subcontractors – you speak at eye level with electrical planners, grid operators, and system integrators.
• Commercial understanding: Calculation, cost accounting, change orders, final invoice.
• Experience in the parallel management of multiple projects (pipeline instead of individual projects).
• Experience with battery storage systems (BTM and/or FTM) and grid connection procedures according to VDE-AR-N 4110/4120.
• An existing network to EPC contractors and system integrators is an advantage.
• (Initial) leadership experience.
• Fluent German, proficient English; willingness to travel approx. 30%, mainly within the DACH region.
