Director of Quality Assurance and Control

The Quality Department is expanding its team and we need a Director of Quality Assurance and Control

Candidate Profile

• Higher technical education (preferably: Engineering, Chemistry, Polygraphy, Materials Technology);
• Relevant experience in a production environment, packaging factory / industrial printing house / plastics industry or food industry – minimum 3 years;
• Knowledge of ISO 9001; 14000; 22000; 45001 / BRC Packaging standards
• Attention to detail, analytical capacity, observation skills and firmness in decision-making;
• Coordination, communication, and teamwork skills;
• Knowledge of English and PC operation.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordination and supervision of quality assurance and control activities within the factory;
• Development, implementation, and updating of quality control procedures for printing (flexographic / rotogravure) and conversion processes;
• Ensuring the conformity of raw materials and finished products with internal standards/customer requirements;
• Analysis of internal and external non-conformities, determination of causes, and implementation of corrective actions;
• Coordination of the relationship with the Production, Technical, Planning, and Commercial departments for process improvement;
• Training production staff on quality standards and best practices;
• Coordination of the relationship with the Commercial department regarding quality complaints and conformity reports.
