Director - ASDV Real Estate Finance Group - SMBC - Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation

Expansionary headcount (Director level) for growing the property finance business in Asia Pacific. This person will work closely with the APAC team head to achieve the APAC property finance team's KPIs and also be required to manage transactions in close step with the relevant property finance deal teams (which could comprise of colleagues across different offices) from origination to deal closing. Some travel is to be expected. Job responsibilities Support Group Head in growing the property finance business in Asia Pacific, including but not limited to: Developing and implementing strategies for expanding the property finance business; Building relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams; Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and drive growth; Managing and mentoring a team of professionals to achieve business objectives; Providing thought leadership and expertise in property finance to support business development. Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders; Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities; Managing and closing transactions from origination to deal closing; Collaborating with internal teams to drive growth and expansion; Mentoring and developing team members to achieve business objectives. Some travel is expected, primarily within Asia Pacific region.
