Tasks

• Leadership and development of an experienced accounting team (> 8 employees)
• Responsibility for financial and tax issues in over 20 companies – nationally and internationally
• Monthly and annual statements according to HGB (and prospectively IFRS) – individual companies & group
• Tax declaration including value-added tax, as well as ensuring compliance together with external partners
• Projects around accounting, process optimization, and IT systems – plus involvement in transactions and financing issues

Qualification

• Degree in economics, accounting, or comparable field, supplemented by further education (e.g. International Certified Accountant)
• Multiple years of experience in accounting, ideally with leadership responsibility
• IFRS knowledge and Big4 background are advantageous
• Familiarity with MS Office, experience with DATEV, SAP Business One or Lucanet is advantageous
• Analytical, structured, but also hands-on and pragmatic
• Very good German and English skills (at least C1) – including complex technical topics
