We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Director of Learning and Development who will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering tailored training programs. This role aims to strengthen sales strategies, client relationship management, and leadership skills across Henley & Partners' global offices. The ideal candidate will have a solid experience in corporate sales, leadership coaching, and team development, with a proven track record of success in roles that involve direct contact with clients. Responsibilities:
  • Work within a small global team to design, develop, and deliver tailored training programs adapted to the individual and collective needs of Henley & Partners' teams.
  • Obtain necessary accreditations to facilitate content-based training and coaching based on third-party intellectual property.
  • Offer training sessions focused on improving sales strategies, developing relationships, and enhancing leadership skills, with a focus on measurable business results.
  • Collaborate with the Henley & Partners Academy team in ideating, creating, and designing modules for internal online learning platforms.
  • Participate in planning, structuring, recording, editing, and publishing audio and video podcasts with the Academy team.
  • Work with senior management to evaluate the needs of sales teams, communication, client relationship management, and leadership development for diverse and multicultural teams.
  • Use a variety of pedagogical methods (in-person or virtual workshops, seminars, online learning, role-playing, etc.) to mobilize diverse groups and ensure that content is relevant and accessible.
  • Facilitate team-building activities, mentorship, coaching, and feedback sessions to help sales professionals and team leaders improve their overall performance and career development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using surveys, evaluations, and comments, and adjust programs to optimize results.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that respects cultural differences and fosters collaboration among teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and sales technologies to maintain cutting-edge training content and approaches.
  • Ensure post-training follow-up to support ongoing learning and encourage lasting behavioral change among participants.
Requirements:
  • Confirmed experience in corporate sales or financial services sales, or team management with a proven track record of success in roles that involve direct client contact.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate training, leadership development, and/or coaching, ideally in a multicultural or international environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and mobilize stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in adapting training programs to knowledge and skill gaps for diverse teams.
  • Solid understanding of sales methodologies, modern leadership principles, and team dynamics, particularly in the financial services or professional services sectors.
  • Certifications relevant to sales training or leadership development are an asset (e.g., The Challenger Sale, Performance Coaching, etc.).
  • Ability to design and deliver training programs tailored to different learning styles and levels of understanding.
