Financial Director

Couplet Sugars is a Belgian family-owned company of 80 people. It is active in the production of specialty sugars, for the global market. In order to pursue its growth, Couplet Sugars invests heavily in the development of its markets, products and production lines. Strong from its successes and to support its development, Couplet Sugars seeks a Financial Director. Functieomschrijving: Under the responsibility of the CEO and as a member of the committee, the Financial Director will be responsible for the financial management of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. He/She will also be expected to provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and other members of the executive team. The ideal candidate should have a master's degree in finance or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar industry, and excellent communication skills. The Financial Director will work closely with the CEO, the management team and other stakeholders to ensure the financial success of the company. He/She will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to the board of directors, as well as ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded and accounted for. The ideal candidate should also have experience in financial planning and budgeting, as well as knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
