The Commando Materieel en IT (COMMIT) provides the Dutch armed forces with what they need: the best equipment and technology, tailored to their specific requirements. COMMIT is responsible for the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of all materiel and IT systems used by the armed forces. As Director of Finance & Control, you will be responsible for managing the financial resources and controlling the costs of COMMIT's operations. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization's goals and objectives. Your responsibilities will include: • Financial planning and budgeting; • Cost control and cost reduction initiatives; • Financial reporting and analysis; • Risk management and internal controls; • Collaboration with stakeholders, including the Ministry of Defence and other government agencies.
