Production/Factory Director

Teamco is seeking a Production/Factory Director.

A manufacturer of agricultural and industrial equipment for nearly 45 years, we are looking for someone with experience in the metal and manufacturing industry to join our growth.

The production director plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates the activities of the factory and machinery production of agricultural and industrial equipment.

More specifically, he/she will:

• Manage all production operations that take place in our 2 factories at Warwick;
• Supervise receipt/delivery and repair department for agricultural equipment on the road;
• Establish and plan work to be done according to forecasts;
• Design the program of activities for the coming weeks;
• Prioritize and plan deadlines according to a precise schedule;
• Update and ensure compliance with delivery deadlines;
• Coordinate the activities of foremen and employees, transmit objectives to achieve, ensure follow-up on results, and evaluate their training needs;
• Ensure continuous improvement in quality across different departments;
• Evaluate normal production time and set targets for reducing production time;
• Validate all agricultural equipment repair work and ensure that all work is billed quickly;
• Have a good analytical spirit, skills, and experience in manufacturing costs;
• Lead production meetings;
• Direct activities of the outside courtyard, warehouse, and stores;
• Supervise health and safety activities at both factories and ensure that employees respect SST rules;
• All other connected tasks requested by management.

A minimum of 5 years of similar experience in a manufacturing factory in the metal industry.
