Account Director in Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance

Covered Region: Drummondville and central Quebec

The Account Director in commercial property and casualty insurance sought will occupy a key position as they will be the first point of contact with ALPHA Assurances clients for new business development in the business service. They will benefit from the expertise and coaching of the sales management to perfect their skills, and several tools and means will be made available to them to achieve individual and team objectives.

More specifically, here are some of the professional challenges related to the position:

• Manage the portfolio of existing clients that will be entrusted to them with the objectives of retaining it and developing its premium volume.
• Develop new clientele at the level of entrepreneurs, mainly in the construction industry in central and eastern Quebec
• Solicit potential clients previously targeted and go to meet clients on the road
• Analyze the needs of future clients by collecting the necessary information and data in order to work with the underwriting team to develop an insurance proposal

To be happy in this position, you must:

• Have successfully completed or be in the process of passing the exams of the Autorité des marchés financiers in commercial property and casualty insurance.
• Have developed a network of important contacts in the targeted niches through your professional experiences
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, excel in oral communication both on the phone and in direct contact with our clients and potential clients
• Possess practical knowledge of computer and technological tools (Windows, Word, Outlook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Ability to listen, analyze and work in collegiality
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit
