Direct Tax Specialist

We are currently looking for a Direct Tax Specialist (Senior Level) to join our Tax team in São Paulo. About the Role This position will be responsible for leading all matters related to Corporate Direct Taxes (IRPJ/CSLL), ensuring tax compliance with Brazilian laws and regulations, as well as providing guidance and support to other departments on tax-related issues. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in direct taxes, experience working with large corporations, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: • Lead all matters related to Corporate Direct Taxes (IRPJ/CSLL); • Ensure tax compliance with Brazilian laws and regulations; • Provide guidance and support to other departments on tax-related issues; • Collaborate with the Tax team to develop and implement tax strategies; • Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, and court decisions; • Develop and maintain relationships with tax authorities and other stakeholders; • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; • Master's degree in Taxation or related field (desirable); • At least 5 years of experience working in direct taxes, preferably with large corporations; • Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulations; • Excellent communication skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
