Dimensional Analyst - Plastic Parts Manufacturing

Knowledge and Skills:

Mechanical technician;

Experience in manufacturing processes;

Familiarity with productive plant life;

Knowledge of GD&T;

Knowledge of APQP/PPAP, CEP;

Knowledge of control device projects;

Knowledge of plastic component validation;

Knowledge of plastic injection molding;

Knowledge of root cause analysis;

Knowledge of basic measurement means;

Knowledge of perceived quality analysis;

Knowledge of interior and external trim perimeters;

Interpretation of Gap & Flush Book;

Interpretation of technical drawings;

Skill in problem-solving treatments;

Activities:

Evaluation of CTF engineering list;

Proposal for tolerances and inspection points in convergence with product engineering;

Creation of PIS (Part Inspection Standard)-Control Plan;

Integration between Product, Process, and Quality regarding dimensioning and tolerancing;

Support in root cause analysis;

Support to the tooling team during project and validation phases;

Support in building control devices;

Support in filling and evaluating RCM reports;

Support during PPAP approval phases;

Support for meeting APQP gates, from sourcing to PPAP approve;

Differentials:

Desirable Mechanical Engineering or related fields;

Desirable intermediate English;
