The PolymerCycle GmbH is a growing mid-sized company group in the field of plastics recycling with six production sites and around 200 employees. We contribute to the circular economy and sustainable use of resources.

To support our further growth, we are actively driving the digitalization and modernization of our system landscape forward. For this purpose, we are looking for an engaged personality who will shape this change from scratch – from ERP consolidation to the setup of a modern IT architecture up to the introduction of KI-based processes.

Tasks

Your Tasks

Covering the Basics – ERP-Rollout & Systemkonsolidierung

• Operative guidance of the group-wide introduction of our ERP branch solution PolyERP at all locations (replacement of Navision, Rona and Excel-based solutions)
• Coordination between locations, departments and external implementation partners
• Ensuring a uniform, clean data basis as the foundation for further digitalization steps

Building State-of-the-Art Systems – Digitalisierung & KI

• Setup of a modern, future-oriented IT architecture for the entire group
• Identification and implementation of concrete digitalization and automation potential in production, logistics, procurement, quality management and administration
• Introduction of KI-based solutions and digital workflows (e.g. based on LLMs, Automation tools like n8n or Power Automate)
• Setup of reporting and dashboard solutions for data-driven control of the group
• Closely working with location managers and management in prioritizing and implementing IT initiatives

Qualification

Your Profile

Qualification & Experience

• Very good university or college degree, field of study open (e.g. business informatics, engineering, business administration, computer science or comparable)
• Track record in operational implementation of digital or AI initiatives and modern automation solutions
• Ideal experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar operational environment

Professional Competencies

• Basic understanding of ERP systems, data models and interface logics
• Safe handling of structured data (Excel, SQL etc.) and willingness to learn new tools
• Overview of current KI tools and automation solutions (LLMs, agents, RPA etc.) as well as feeling for sensible application possibilities in the industrial environment
• Experience or strong interest in BI tools and data-based corporate management

• Strukturierte, selbstständige Arbeitsweise mit hoher Umsetzungsorientierung

• Fähigkeit, technische Themen verständlich zu vermitteln und Akzeptanz bei Mitarbeitenden unterschiedlicher IT-Affinität zu schaffen
• Reisebereitschaft für gelegentliche Besuche unserer Standorte
