Job description
Our Corporate Operations team is looking for a Product Manager SAP HR (f/m/d) on a permanent contract based in Lille.
Within the Corporate Operations department (200 people), which oversees all HR & Finance IT systems, our HR IT team is at the heart of a large-scale international transformation: the global implementation of Workday in all Decathlon countries. We manage an ecosystem of critical products (Core HR, Talent, Recruitment, Payroll) with the ambition of reconciling local operational excellence and global rationalization. An exciting technological and human challenge where each team member has a direct impact on the daily lives of our employees.
YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION
As an SAP HR Product Manager, your mission will be to ensure the stability and performance of your products' RUN, while evolving them to support strategic projects and the company's international transformation. You will be responsible for the SAP HR (French and Spanish payroll calculation for 40,000 users) and SAP BW (payroll reporting) products.
Your main responsibilities will revolve around 4 main pillars:
- RUN Management & Operational Excellence: Ensure the quality and legal compliance of payroll in France & Spain (and in future countries where the SAP HR solution will be deployed). You will be the primary point of contact for local payroll teams to listen, challenge, and translate their needs into functional specifications.
- Ecosystem Animation & Agility: Daily animation of a team of experts (3 ABAP developers, HR Path and Winch Consulting TMA). You will lead agile rituals, backlog prioritization on JIRA, and deliverable tracking.
- Data Flows & Digital Ecosystem: Be the guarantor of fluid and secure data exchanges between the payroll tool and the digital tools for Core HR, employee planning, various compensation, as well as financial tools.
- Modernization, Security & Major Projects:
- Lead the strategic migration project of SAP HR & SAP BW to the RISE S4 version, in close collaboration with the SAP publisher and Decathlon's internal SAP technical teams.
- Manage the application of security Support Packages (patches) and coordinate the impacts with the business.
- Manage technical integration with Workday (stabilization for France, flow construction for Spain with the integrator Shapein).
- Governance, Economics & Strategy: Ensure the budgetary management of your product (licenses, TMA, projects). You will also participate in strategic discussions around the "SAP United" initiative to advise on and study the deployment of SAP HR in other countries, particularly in the United Kingdom and Malaysia to replace their local solutions.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar scope and with similar responsibilities.
- Business Expertise: Significant experience with a payroll tool and a strong aptitude for HR-related technical and legal issues. Knowledge of SAP HR is a significant asset.
- Product Management & Agility: Mastery of Agile methodology (JIRA), product value-oriented vision, and proven ability to manage complex dependencies and technical roadmaps.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, influence leadership to manage third parties (publishers, integrators) and collaborate with expert operational staff. Critical thinking, decision-oriented, and strong ability to take a step back.
- Languages: Fluent French & English indispensable to thrive in our international context.
