This role is based in our Toronto office .

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to help shape the digital experience of some of the most exciting live events in North America. As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of a passionate team that creates work that fans see, share, and remember across FAN EXPO, VidCon, Interior Design Show, Artist Project, One of a Kind Spring & Christmas Shows, and Art Toronto.

You will help focus on the development, delivery, and performance of our digital marketing initiatives. To keep our fans updated on the latest happenings, you will assist the Digital Marketing Manager in sending out emails, refreshing our website, analyzing data, and supporting various aspects of our digital marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, create, manage, and enhance the company’s digital marketing efforts for 23+ events.
  • Have full command of website CMS backend to maintain and enhance websites in accordance with industry best practices – from SEO to compliance.
  • Manage daily tasks around website usability and information management, SEM, SEO tactics, keyword research, link building, content development and social engagement.
  • Create and manage audience segmentation based on behavioral data based on interest and engagement patterns
  • Generate actionable insights from database analytics to inform marketing strategy and personalization efforts
  • Regular reporting to key stakeholders on the performance of email marketing campaigns and website performance.
  • Utilize web analysis to identify actionable improvements that can be made on the websites to further drive conversions and meet internal goals.
  • Manage data and highlight opportunities to better communicate with audience.
  • Track website and associated email campaigns, ensuring websites and eblasts are performing with no defects or errors.
  • Serves as an expert on emerging trends and tools in digital communications and works alongside other digital experience specialists across Informa to establish best practices.
  • Quantify and analyze campaign results and make recommendations on ways to improve or increase the success of marketing efforts.
  • Comfort and experience with a wide variety of marketing, sales, or communications technology – Adestra, Infront, Google Analytics, CORE CMS, Google Tag Manager.
  • Build and monitor newsletters and e-blast campaigns including list development, email creation, customer segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Work alongside agencies to ensure the Mobile App is accurately updated and used effectively to grow users.
  • Work alongside marketing team on technical, UX optimization requests for both websites and email campaigns.
  • CRM: Experience in planning and creating email marketing automation campaigns.
  • Ensure all digital assets are created, implemented, tested, and launched on schedule.
  • Work with Digital Marketing agency to set up search and social marketing campaigns and set up campaigns internally when needed.
  • Report to the Digital Marketing Manager and support, communicate, and collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Creative and Brand Manager, Marketing Coordinators, Graphic Designers, Show Directors, and external vendors.
  • Other duties as required.
