The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Working within a multidisciplinary team to support and assist tāngata whai ora using Pathways’ services to reach and maintain optimum wellness by providing effective dietetic support, education and resources, and clinical expertise.

Build the use of health metrics, personal goals and physical health checklists with a trauma informed lens.

  • Provide dietetic services to tāngata whai ora in Pathways services including group nutrition education, individual consultation, and nutrition care planning in care various settings
  • Work in collaboration with the wider healthcare team to deliver the best nutrition outcomes for tāngata whai ora
  • Create and maintain a healthy eating environment in various Pathways services by providing nutrition education for kaimahi, and developing service menus

Work Hours:
You will report to the Team Coach who supports and leads the team. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week and hours of work are Monday and Tuesday 8.00-4.30pm and Wednesday 8.00 – 12.30, although days can be flexible. You will work across our services in the Auckland area.

About You | Mōu
Do you have an interest in or experience assisting mental health tāngata whai ora to reach their potential through providing support that maintains mental health and improves physical wellbeing.

You will also have;

  • A full clean NZ driver’s license
  • A current NZ Registration as a Dietitian
  • Current practicing certificate
  • Dedication to the principles of trauma informed care
  • Experience in mental health
