What Toll has to Offer:

  • Permanent Position offering $70 per hour
  • Attractive $30k per annum Housing Allowance (Conditions Apply)

What Does a Day as a Toll Diesel Mechanic Look Like?

  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
  • Ordering and replacing parts as needed
  • Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members

Our desired Key Skills and Experience:

  • Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel vehicles
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to workplace safety
