Diesel Mechanic

Hire Resolve is currently seeking 3 skilled Diesel Mechanic's for their client based in Wellington. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered equipment in the Civil Construction Industry.

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and vehicles. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on diesel-powered equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
• Replace faulty parts as needed
• Ensure efficient operation of machinery to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective workflow
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed

• Grade 12
• Red Seal
• Valid Trade Certificate as a Diesel Mechanic
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
• Experience with a variety of diesel engines and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
