Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Mechanic/Technician for our client in the civil engineering industry to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. This role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills, as well as a dedication to quality workmanship. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain equipment operation by completing inspections and preventative maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle defects; performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements; troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues with diesel engines and vehicles; ensuring all work is performed in accordance with established safety procedures and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, experience working with heavy equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
