Job Description
For a garage in Herentals, we are looking for a diagnostic technician:

Your tasks

o Perform minor and major maintenance.
o Carry out mechanical repairs (e.g., replacing brakes, suspension, timing belt).
o Detect and resolve electrical and electronic faults.
o Perform in-depth diagnostics.
o Stay up-to-date with the new trends and operation of hybrid and electric vehicles.
o Work with diagnostic equipment and read error codes.
o Inspection and repair of engine and transmission systems.
o Check and maintain air conditioning and cooling systems.
o Replace, balance, and align tires.
o Replace exhausts, batteries, and other parts.
o Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
o Gather information about the circumstances of the defect and make an initial diagnosis
o Locate the defect or malfunction through checks, tests, and measurements
o Identify defective or worn parts and repair or replace them

* easily work with the diagnostic computer and electrical diagrams.

You have:
* a diploma in automotive technology, technical, or graduate level.
