• Counseling and training of patients and relatives regarding diabetes mellitus
• Support with nutrition, medication, and lifestyle changes
• Interdisciplinary care in adult diabetology
• Creation of individual therapy plans in collaboration with doctors and departments
• Conducting training sessions and workshops on prevention and self-management
• Patient care including blood sugar monitoring and therapy adjustment
• Documentation and evaluation of consultations and patient data
• Collaboration in an interdisciplinary team

• Completed further training as a Diabetes Educator (DDG) or comparable qualification
• Experience in the care and counseling of diabetes patients
• Knowledge of modern diabetes therapy and insulin therapy
• Experience with CGM systems and digital applications
• Empathetic and communicative demeanor
• Enjoyment of working with patients and relatives
• Independent, structured, and reliable working method
• Teamwork skills and willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation
