Information on the VacancyOur specialist clinic, located in the green district of Hietzing, is one of the leading competence centers for diseases and pain of the musculoskeletal system. Our offering covers orthopedics in its entire spectrum. Annually, over 11,000 surgeries are performed and around 19,000 patients are treated as inpatients.

At our site, the surgical instruments of all five hospitals of the Vinzenz Kliniken Wien are decontaminated, packed, and sterilized. • Support of the Ward Management:

- Together with the ward management, you coordinate the workflows in the ZAEMP
- You represent the ward management in their absence

• Quality and Repair Management:

- In cooperation with the coordination and management team, you monitor the
processes in accordance with the defined specifications and work instructions
- You support the team in their daily tasks
- In cooperation with the coordinators, you are the technical contact person for
the customers of Vinzenz Kliniken Wien
- You ensure compliance with legal provisions, especially the
Medical Devices Act
- You are responsible for repair management and support the
procurement of instruments and materials in cooperation with the respective
professional groups
- You release sterile goods for further use after successful inspection, in cooperation with the
management team
- You manage warehouse administration and administer existing inventories

• Practical Instruction:

- You are responsible for the training of new employees and interns and support the onboarding process

Your Qualifications

• Diploma in Advanced Nursing Practice or Diploma in Surgical Technology Assistance
• Registration in the Register of Health Professions
• At least 1 year of professional experience as DKGP*/OTA* in the operating room and/or in a reprocessing unit for medical devices
• The following special training/further education are advantageous:
  Nursing in the operating room, Sterilization expertise courses I - II, further training in basic and middle nursing management or for practical instruction
• Customer contact makes you thrive
• You have technical understanding and good IT skills
• You show interest and competencies in the areas of quality and risk management and hygiene
• Further training is important to you

The gross monthly salary for DGKP* is at least € 3,973,- according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Ordensspitäler Österreichs (classification group D1, level 2) for 40 hours per week, including GSI/SEG allowance according to KV and nursing supplement according to EEZG.
