Within the “Engineering” Directorate, MBDA Italia SpA is looking for a “DEW Specialist”.

Required Educational Qualification:

• Degree in engineering, information technology sector

Professional Experience

• 2 years of experience in the development of technologies for directed energy systems

Activities planned for the role:

The chosen Resource will be responsible for the following activities:

• Contribute to the creation of technological concepts and functional prototypes with a particular focus on technologies for directed energy systems.

• Conduct activities in the electronic laboratory with an experimental and analytical approach.
• Define architectures and models, ensuring rigorous and audit-ready technical documentation.
• Work in synergy with multinational and cross-departmental teams.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for internal and external reviews.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and SMEs.
• Contribute to the technological roadmap.
• Actively participate in the definition of R&T deliverables.

Professional Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Matlab, COMSOL, CST.
• Advanced knowledge of digital and high-frequency electronic design
• Knowledge of programming languages (PYTHON, C++)

Language Skills:

• Good command of the English language

Organizational Skills/Soft Skills:

• Consolidated experience in the use of laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong aptitude for working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
• Good command of English
