DevOps Engineer (w/m/d)
Aufgaben
Your tasks
- Operation and continuous development of Java-based applications (WildFly) including the corresponding databases
- Ensuring a stable and performant operation of Linux servers and Kubernetes environments
- Carrying out deployments, updates, and rollbacks as well as analyzing system landscapes and troubleshooting issues
- Maintenance and development of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. with GitLab Ultimate/Jenkins)
- Automating and optimizing business processes
- Through monitoring, telemetry, and performance analysis, you ensure a reliable system operation
- Support for cloud migration
Qualifikation
Your profile
- A completed degree in computer science, an IT training or comparable qualification – alternatively, you convince us with relevant experience in the DevOps or CI/CD field.
- Practical experience in setting up, operating, and developing CI/CD pipelines (e.g. with GitLab CI or Jenkins) as well as a good understanding of deployment and release processes
- Ideal experience with build and deployment tools (e.g. Maven) as well as container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- A good understanding of infrastructure, system architectures, and the interaction of productive systems, as well as an outstanding security and quality awareness (e.g. in the context of PCI applications)
- First experiences with cloud technologies (AWS/EKS) are advantageous
- You are meticulous, engaged, team-oriented, and bring a high level of self-initiative
- Good German and English skills
