We are looking for DevOps Engineer (w|m|d) Software Development & Deployment Infrastructure, which will support our software team at our headquarters in Aachen as soon as possible.

Aufgaben

• You set up our software products and internal tools operationally and ensure a smooth deployment.
• In addition, you develop, optimize, and document GitLab-CI pipelines for internal and external projects.
• You drive the continuous development and maintenance of our self-hosted build server infrastructure.
• You also take over the maintenance and further development of our infrastructure for storing and delivering embedded software packages.
• In addition, you work on the further development of other self-hosted DevOps services and develop a roadmap and architecture for modern CI/CD principles – including the integration of our special hardware in the field.

Qualifikation

• You have completed an informatics degree, IT specialist training or equivalent knowledge.
• You have very good Python skills and experience working with GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of shell scripting (POSIX, Bash) is recommended and rounds out your profile; experience with Ansible is also advantageous.
• You bring a good understanding of Linux containers and container-based technologies like Docker.
• You have knowledge in Linux system administration; experience with Debian GNU/Linux and hypervisor solutions like VMWare or Proxmox is a plus.
