Job description

DevOps Engineer Talent Worx is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DevOps practices and principles, combining software development and IT operations to enhance our development lifecycle and deployment processes. This role is vital in ensuring streamlined workflows, improved efficiencies in our build and deployment processes, and rapid delivery of software solutions. As a part of our team, you will collaborate with developers, testers, and operations teams to build and maintain our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for automation and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments. * Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions to ensure system stability and availability. * Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve software delivery processes. * Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and processes. * Implement security best practices and ensure compliance. * Participate in on-call rotations to address critical system issues. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role. * Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices. * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). * Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). * Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: * Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). * Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). * Experience with serverless technologies. * Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
