Job description

As a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the architecture, automation, and continuous improvement of our AWS environments, developing scalable solutions that generate real business impact.
What you do with us
  • You design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available platform architectures on AWS and other cloud providers, defining standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
  • You develop and operate platform services such as networking, IAM, compute, storage, containers, and serverless.
  • You consistently drive automation and develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) as well as self-service frameworks.
  • You design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrate security, compliance, and quality checks, and implement modern deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary, Rolling).
  • You develop central automation tools and platform components in Python, create APIs, CLI tools, and reusable libraries, and efficiently use AWS SDKs (boto3).
  • You ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the platform and implement monitoring, observability, and automated incident and recovery processes.

    • When you fit with us
  • You have several years of experience in the architecture, development, and optimization of AWS platforms.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps practices.
  • You are proficient in the setup and operation of platform services as well as CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
  • You possess good programming skills in Python and experience with AWS SDKs, APIs, and automation frameworks.
  • You understand monitoring, observability, and cloud operations as integral components of a stable platform.
  • Ideally, you have experience with container technologies, serverless architectures, and relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional).
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
