DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)
Job description
Welcome to Noxum!
Noxum is an established IT company with locations in Würzburg and India, developing and operating our own software products since 1996. Our teams work closely together across locations and have been doing so since 2016, making English a natural part of our daily work.
You will be working on stable products in a team that values long-term collaboration. More than half of our colleagues have been with us for over 14 years. You will be contributing to solutions that are further developed and where you can deepen your knowledge step by step.
If you want to improve things, you'll get the necessary space to implement them at Noxum. At the same time, we rely on grown structures and sustainable solutions rather than constant upheavals.
Aufgaben
Your Tasks
- Development and operation of CI/CD pipelines based on Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Automation and continuous development of build, test, and deployment processes
- Conceptualization, setup, and administration of Azure and On-Prem infrastructure
- Management and further development of Azure DevOps environments (repos, branching strategies, policies, permissions)
- Planning, implementation, and operation of releases in customer and internal system landscapes
- Analysis and sustainable resolution of disturbances in complex system environments (e.g. build, deployment, databases)
- Implementation and operation of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Support for the operation and further development of customer systems
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Closely working with development teams and customers as well as supporting 2nd-level support
Qualifikation
Your Skills and Knowledge
- Multiple years of experience in the DevOps field, ideally in customer-facing systems
- Very good knowledge of Azure DevOps and/or GitHub (including Actions, Repos, Pipelines)
- Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure (Azure and On-Prem)
- Safe handling of CI/CD concepts and automation
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and ideally Kubernetes
- Good knowledge in at least one scripting language, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience in working with monitoring tools and operating productive systems
- Knowledge in areas such as DNS, certificate management, and identity management is advantageous
- Experience in troubleshooting complex system landscapes (e.g. builds, deployments, databases)
- Structured, solution-oriented, and self-responsible work style
- Outstanding ability to analyze and continuously improve processes
- Clear communication as well as close and cooperative collaboration with various teams
No need to worry if you don't check all the boxes; nobody expects that. For us, it's about the overall picture: your foundation, your willingness to learn, and your motivation. Missing knowledge in individual areas is for us potential for development, not an exclusion criterion.
Benefits
Look forward to
- A structured onboarding process with fixed contact partners and sufficient time to settle in
- A core working hours of 10:00-15:00 and flexible time accounts
- Comprehensive mobile work, with a fixed office day adjusted to the team
- An environment where knowledge is built up, shared, and long-term retained
- Firm parking, travel expense allowance, job bike, and regular team events
Are you ready to work together with an established team on products we're proud of? Then we look forward to getting to know you.
