DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Description:

We are looking for a DevOp Engineer (m/w/d) in full-time employment at K-tronik to support our team with a renowned customer in the field of defense technology. Interested? Then we look forward to your application!

Tasks:

• Concept, development, and maintenance of software solutions with specific customer adaptations
• Development, maintenance, and optimization of automated build servers and CI/CD pipelines
• Administration, configuration, and support of Linux systems
• Management and maintenance of container technologies (e.g. Docker, Podman)
• Setup and management of project networks
• Closely working with developers to optimize build and deployment processes
• Safeguarding and hardening of Linux servers according to best practices
• Using modern technologies and tools like Git, Atlassian Tools, CMake, C++17/20, MQTT, etc.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification (at least Bachelor)

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the IT sector

• Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins)

• Fundamental knowledge in Linux administration (preferably Arch Linux or derivatives)

• Safe handling of MS Office

• Knowledge in scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python) for automation

• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman)

• Good understanding of network concepts, security, and system hardening

• Vocal German and English skills

  A plus is:
