Job description

What We Are Looking For

Every company continuously needs new customers – and this is exactly the problem we solve. With Interlead, we are building the #1 platform for leads, appointments, and orders, making customer acquisition easier, more transparent, and more predictable for our partners.

We are therefore looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for our IT team as soon as possible, 100% from home office (Germany) or at our office in Bremen!

These Are Your Responsibilities

  • You monitor and maintain our servers
  • You take care of internal monitoring
  • You are responsible for the further development and maintenance of the IT infrastructure
  • You manage our infrastructure as code (e.g., with Terraform, Ansible)
  • You integrate security checks directly into our CI/CD pipelines (Shift-Left approach) and continuously develop them further
  • You conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests
  • You handle secrets management and the secure administration of access credentials
  • You ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
  • You perform threat modeling and assess security risks early on
  • You document processes and infrastructure
  • You observe current trends and introduce new tools and best practices
  • You advise colleagues on security-related issues

Through Your Expertise, You Will Achieve the Following Milestones With Us

  • 0-3 Months:
    • You will have become familiar with our team, our processes, and our IT infrastructure
    • You will have familiarized yourself with our existing server, monitoring, and CI/CD landscape
    • You will have an overview of our current security measures and identified initial optimization potentials
    • You will independently take on initial tasks in daily operations and monitoring
  • 4-6 Months:
    • You will have integrated initial security checks into our CI/CD pipelines (Shift-Left)
    • You will have implemented improvements in monitoring and alerting
    • You will have actively contributed to the further development of our infrastructure
    • You will have conducted initial vulnerability scans and derived measures
  • 7-12 Months:
    • You will independently be responsible for central parts of our IT infrastructure
    • You will have established security standards and best practices within the team
    • You will drive the automation of processes independently
    • You will be the central point of contact for security-related questions
    • You will contribute your own ideas and actively shape the further development of our DevSecOps culture

What You Bring With You

  • You have completed vocational training or a degree in an IT field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) – or comparable practical experience
  • You have sound knowledge in the administration of Linux servers
  • You are familiar with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their secure operation
  • You have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • You have experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • You have knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack)
  • You bring a good understanding of networks, firewalls, and common security concepts

What We Offer You

  • This position can be performed 100% from home office (from Germany).
  • You will work in an experienced senior team that operates quickly, leanly, and without unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • We consistently rely on state-of-the-art technologies and give you the freedom to try new things.
  • Short decision-making paths and flat hierarchies – your ideas don't get shelved, but are implemented directly.
  • You will take on responsibility from the outset and actively shape things.
  • Flexible working hours that are results-oriented – not attendance-oriented.
  • Participation in exciting, technologically demanding projects
  • Modern hardware of your choice

These Are Our Values

  • Fail Fast: We live a strong testing and error culture. We are pragmatic, courageous, and comfortable with change.
  • Results: We work flexibly, but reliably. With us, freedom is in balance with results orientation and personal responsibility.
  • Trust: We are open about numbers, strengths, and weaknesses and do what is right for the company ("Ego back").
