Job description

You want to shape modern cloud platforms and actively drive the entire software lifecycle forward?

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d), who brings together development and operation and takes modern deployment and automation processes to the next level.

Tasks

  • Conceptualization, setup, and continuous optimization of modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Automating and ensuring efficient deployment processes across various environments
  • Containerizing and operating modern web applications in cloud and Kubernetes environments
  • Setting up and further developing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
  • Collaboration on the development and optimization of software components in the Java environment
  • Active participation in agile development processes and technical architecture decisions
  • Tight cooperation with software development, architecture, and operation

Qualification

  • SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree or training program in the field of computer science or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in setting up and operating CI/CD processes as well as deploying complex software solutions
  • Practical knowledge of GitLab or comparable DevOps platforms
  • Experience with Kubernetes-based platforms, ideally OpenShift
  • Knowledge in the field of monitoring and logging, e.g., with Grafana, Prometheus, or the ELK stack
  • Safe handling of Git as well as common methods of release and version management
  • Good knowledge of Java as well as modern backend technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus
  • Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP) as well as data formats like JSON and XML
  • Structured, self-responsible work style and joy in team collaboration in agile environments
