Tasks

Your Mission
We are looking for you as a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) in the area of Test for Naval IT Systems at the Kiel (hybrid) location.

Your tasks will include:

• You will work in an agile development team for our system products in the field of marine communication
• You will support our in-house developed HIL test systems and actively assist in their integration into our test automation strategy and associated test processes
• You will assist with the administration and expansion of our virtualized test environments in line with the test system strategy, where you can demonstrate your knowledge of automation, GitLab Runner, and pipelines

Qualifications

Your Profile
You should definitely bring the following knowledge and skills with you:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Experience with Linux operating systems, good Python skills, and experience with virtualization software.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab Runner).
• The motivation to actively contribute to the implementation of our test strategy.
• Good knowledge in the application of agile methods such as Scrum
• Experience with version control, preferably with GitLab or GitHub.
• Independent, goal-oriented way of working, as well as a high degree of teamwork and open communication.
• Very good spoken and written German is required for effective communication in the project environment as well as with our German-speaking customers
