Do you constantly ask yourself at work: "How can we make our infrastructure even more efficient?“ - Then help us take our cross-system AI platform to the next level. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who brings the passion and know-how to further develop our platform to be even more stable and scalable.
Tasks
You will support the automation of our product and internal setup processes and reduce manual work.
Together with the development team, you will improve deployments and help analyze and fix technical problems.
You will participate in further developing, implementing, and documenting our security measures for customers and external audits.
You will support the operation and scaling of our deployments for various customers – including those with larger databases, containers, and cloud-native tools.
In case of incidents, you will help analyze the cause and restore our services. You will work to keep downtime as minimal as possible.
You will operate and improve our monitoring and alerting so that problems can be identified and resolved early.
Qualifications
You have practical experience with Linux-based systems; knowledge of Windows Server is a plus.
You have initial experience in deploying and operating workloads in cloud environments. Knowledge of multiple cloud providers is helpful.
You are familiar with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and other cloud-native technologies from practical experience.
You understand the processes in development and operations and have worked with CI/CD pipelines.
You have worked with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or want to deepen your knowledge in this area.
You have experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus.
You communicate clearly and assertively in German and English with different stakeholders.
You work ambitiously and enjoy teamwork: at amber, we prioritize common goals over personal ego.
You reliably complete tasks and take responsibility for your areas – with the support of the team.
You have basic programming skills and are comfortable with Java or Python. Knowledge of Rust or Go is a plus.
