DevOps Engineer Application Management Services (m/f/d)

We are looking for

You don't just want to operate pipelines, but design complete operational and deployment platforms? You want to take responsibility for productive customer environments and implement modern DevOps practices from build to rollout?
Then become part of our Application Management Services team.
We operate and develop modern DevOps platforms for our eitco solutions in the field of statutory accident insurance, support our customers with operations, carry out rollouts, and provide third-level support. We consistently rely on automation, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps.


Your Tasks

  • Implementation and optimization of automated build, test, and deployment processes
  • Development of own Puppet modules and automation solutions
  • Execution of rollouts in customer environments
  • Support in architecture and operational questions for our development teams
  • Analysis and resolution of complex operational disruptions in third-level support
  • Setup and further development of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
  • Participation in the operation and further development of our CI/CD platform
  • Operation and further development of Kubernetes platforms
  • Participation in modern GitOps and Cloud Native concepts

Your Profile

Must-have

  • Experience in a Linux environment
  • Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code
  • Understanding of modern DevOps principles
  • Enjoyment of sustainable solutions and independent work
  • Deeper knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
    • Puppet / bolt
    • PostgreSQL
    • Kubernetes / CAPI
    • Linux Administration
  • Native-level German language skills and good English language skills
Nice-to-have
  • Experience in operating business-critical applications
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge in observability and monitoring solutions
  • Experience with shell scripting (Bash or PowerShell)
  • Knowledge in Java / Kotlin or Spring Boot
  • Experience in regulated or security-critical environments
