DevOps Engineer

Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer to support a global payment solutions company by configuring and optimizing monitoring systems to ensure reliability and timely issue detection across banking platforms. The customer is a global technology company in the field of payment solutions, providing secure transaction processing for banks, businesses, governments, and individuals worldwide. The organization develops digital payment infrastructure and offers value-added services such as analytics, loyalty programs, and fraud prevention. **Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of the payment platform. * Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. * Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the CI/CD pipeline. * Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures. * Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for the payment platform. * Document system configurations, processes, and procedures. * Continuously evaluate and improve the infrastructure and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security. * Work closely with security teams to ensure adherence to security best practices. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. * Strong understanding of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. * Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. * Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). * Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar. * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing). * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Nice to have:** * Experience with payment processing systems. * Experience with security best practices. * Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer). **Benefits:** * Competitive salary. * Health insurance. * Paid time off. * Professional development opportunities. * Collaborative and supportive work environment.
