DevOps Architect

At NTT DATA, DevOps is not a support function — it is a strategic capability. As a DevOps Architect, you will design and evolve the platforms that enable teams to build, release, and operate software at scale, securely and efficiently. This role sits at the intersection of cloud, automation, security, and culture , shaping how modern digital products are delivered. You will work with enterprise clients and internal teams, influencing architecture decisions and helping organizations move from traditional software development lifecycles to modern, automated, and cloud-native approaches. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and implement end-to-end DevOps solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and monitoring/alerting systems. * Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define and implement best practices for software development, deployment, and operations. * Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency, security, and scalability. * Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members. * Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing. * Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on DevOps and cloud-native architectures. * Participate in workshops and training sessions to share knowledge and promote DevOps culture. * Consult with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored DevOps solutions. * Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on DevOps and cloud technologies. * Strong understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). * Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash). * Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. * Experience working with Agile development methodologies. * Experience with security best practices in a DevOps environment. * Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Chef, Puppet). **Preferred Skills:** * Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer). * Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd). * Experience with serverless technologies. * Experience with FinOps. * Experience with GitOps. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive health insurance * Paid time off * Professional development opportunities * 401(k) plan * Other benefits as defined by the company
