DevEx Engineer - SASE Core Networking

DevEx Engineer – SASE Core Networking Join Check Point India R&D to accelerate developer velocity for teams building groundbreaking SASE Core Networking products. We're seeking a hands-on engineer with 5 years in DevOps/Developer Experience to own tooling, automation, and workflows that eliminate friction and boost efficiency in our high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Local Dev Environment Ownership: Design and maintain VM-based local setups for core networking components; fix stability issues and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature enhancements. Develop and maintain documentation for local dev environments, ensuring consistency across the organization. Automation and Tooling: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python or other languages to streamline tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve overall efficiency. Work closely with DevOps engineers to integrate automation tools into CI/CD pipelines. Workflow Optimization: Analyze and optimize workflows for core networking components, eliminating bottlenecks and improving overall velocity. Collaborate with developers to identify areas of improvement and implement changes that enhance the development experience. DevEx Engineering: Develop and maintain DevEx engineering best practices, ensuring consistency across the organization. Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize feature enhancements, and develop solutions to improve developer productivity.
