Job description
We are looking for an IT apprentice to ensure the maintenance and evolution of several WordPress websites. Reporting to the IT department (DSI), the apprentice will work in conjunction with the various departments of the company and any technical service providers.
Maintenance and smooth operation of websites:
• Ensure the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of several WordPress websites and the blog.
• Carry out technical updates (CMS, themes, extensions/plugins) and ensure their compatibility.
• Monitor the availability, performance, and security of the sites (backups, patches).
• Diagnose and correct reported anomalies and malfunctions.
Evolution and integration:
• Integrate new content, pages, and functionalities according to the needs of the teams.
• Participate in the improvement of ergonomics and user experience.
• Customize themes and templates (HTML, CSS, PHP) and develop small custom functionalities.
Monitoring and documentation:
• Provide regular reporting of activity and interventions.
• Document procedures and evolutions carried out.
• Conduct technological watch on tools, security, and web best practices.
• Preparation for a diploma in IT / web development (Bac+2 to Bac+3: BTS, DUT, Professional License, Bachelor, Master).
Technical skills appreciated:
• Knowledge of WordPress (administration, themes, plugins).
• Basics in web development: HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript.
• Notion of databases (MySQL) and hosting management (FTP, cPanel or equivalent).
• Sensitivity to web security (an asset).
Personal qualities:
• Rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills.
• Technical curiosity and desire to learn.
• Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
Conditions
• Remuneration according to the legal apprenticeship grid (percentage of the minimum wage based on age and year of study).
• Support from a tutor/apprenticeship master throughout the contract.
• Position based at the Calais site
