Full Stack JS Developer

Tomorrow, our console will receive billions of requests. Your mission: ensure it holds up and remains fast. Arkane Cloud is creating a Full Stack Developer position, 80% back-end, to build a platform designed for scale.

Why This Role?

Our console is our clients' entry point: it's where they deploy and manage their GPU resources. With the rise of AI, it will have to handle a very large volume of requests. We are creating this position to make it robust against load spikes, develop the APIs that run it, and implement best practices that will allow the team to grow. Your time will be divided 80% on back-end and 20% on front-end.

Your Missions

• Handle load spikes: an architecture that absorbs traffic without slowing down.

• Develop our Node.js APIs: performant, secure, documented.

• Implement best practices: code reviews, automated tests, monitoring.

• Optimize the PostgreSQL database.

• Evolve the console interface in React.js (approximately 20% of your time).

Your First 6 Months

1st month: Get acquainted with the console and its architecture, first performance audit, first production deployments.

3 months: Load tests in place, first blocking issues resolved, best practices formalized.

6 months: Console capable of handling any load increase, operational monitoring and alerts.

Your Experience

• 5 years or more in development, with a back-end focus.

• Experience with a consumer platform or high-traffic platform.

Your Expertise

• Node.js: design of robust and performant APIs.

• React.js: comfortable evolving an existing interface.

• Scalability: caching, queues, load testing, scalability.

A Real Plus:

Playwright, Grafana, knowledge of cloud or GPU infrastructure.

Your way of working: rigorous on quality, pragmatic, comfortable sharing your practices with the team.
