The Position
The team consists of a Product Manager, an Engineering Manager, 2 PHP BACKEND developers, and 2 FRONTEND developers (Typescript / React). Integrated into the MERCHANT Squad, dedicated to tools and services for our partner merchants, we work in Scrum with two-week sprints and continuous delivery.

Within the MERCHANT squad, we develop and maintain Backend APIs used by our merchants to interact with the Paygreen by Lemonway payment platform.
📌 Main Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of our product offering
Participate in the development of new features on the PHP Backend APIs exposed to merchants.
Collaborate with product teams and senior developers to ensure that the developed solutions meet merchant needs and platform standards.
Participate in legacy management
Analyze and understand existing code to identify areas that require refactoring or optimization.
Contribute to technical debt reduction initiatives in collaboration with the team.
Participate in code refactoring according to best practices, under the supervision of experienced developers.
Contribute to documentation and processes
Write and maintain clear technical documentation for the developed APIs.
Apply the team's development guidelines and contribute to their improvement.
Participate in the implementation and use of CI/CD pipelines to automate quality checks.
Improve code quality
Participate in code reviews and progress thanks to feedback from the team.
Contribute to writing unit and integration tests to secure deliveries.
Apply backend development best practices and develop skills in API performance and security issues.
What are we looking for?
An ongoing training program (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in computer development or an engineering school.
Solid foundations in PHP and a desire to deepen your backend knowledge.
First experience or knowledge of REST APIs.
Knowledge or interest in relational databases SQL/Postgres.
A strong team spirit: you know how to ask questions, rely on your colleagues, and share what you learn.
Technical curiosity and a sensitivity to code quality.
The ability to read documentation in English.
