Fullstack Java / Vue.js Developer (Back-end Dominant) Senior (METZ - FR)

For one of our clients in the retail sector in Metz, we are looking for several FULLSTACK JAVA DEVELOPERS - BACK-END DOMINANT - SENIOR
Mission Context:
The Digital Factory Magasins Front designs and develops front-office digital services for in-store employees, including web and mobile applications, relying on experts in technology, design, and product management to optimize the employee experience.
Your Mission:
The mission consists of leading the team responsible for the evolution of in-store checkout solutions (traditional, self-service, self-scanning). As a Tech Lead, your mission will revolve around three major axes:
- IT Project Leadership and Monitoring: Ensure technical coordination, priority management, and smooth deliveries throughout the software lifecycle.
- Technical Expertise and Development: Actively participate in the development and maintenance of digital services, ensuring their robustness, technical excellence, and alignment with the operational needs of stores.
- Management and Mentoring: Support the team daily, lead architectural decisions, and foster the skill development of developers.
Deliverables:
● Code and Quality: Secure code on key components (Java, Spring Boot) and validation of code reviews.
● Architecture: Technical design documents, updated diagrams, and definition of best practices.
● IT Leadership: Technical roadmaps and project monitoring indicators (progress, quality, technical debt).
● Management: Knowledge sharing and skill development materials for the team.
Technical Environment:
Must Have
● Contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality and development practices
● CI/CD and Tools: Proficiency in Git and good understanding of continuous deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
● IT Project Management: Proficiency in tracking tools (Jira, Confluence) for managing tickets, sprints, and technical debt.
Nice to Have
● Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications with Java, Spring Boot, and Vue.js
● Architect microservices and event-driven solutions
● Manage relational and document-oriented databases
● Integrate craftsmanship principles and best practices such as SOLID, YAGNI, and test coverage with Sonar
● Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle from design to production and run
● Ensure the maintenance and evolution of existing applications
Your Profile:
● Master's degree (engineering school or university) in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
● More than 7 years of experience in Fullstack Java / Vue.js Development (back-end dominant).
● Validated Tech Lead experience
● Experience in the retail / mass distribution sector would be an asset
