About the Role | Mō te tūranga: We’re looking for an experienced and values-driven Development Manager – Health and Disability to provide leadership and management of Lifewise’s Health and Disability services, ensuring that we are delivering high quality, client-centered support to our clients. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the Health and Disability team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring high quality client-centered support is delivered to our clients. * Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. * Ensure effective service delivery and compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. * Manage and monitor the budget for the Health and Disability services, ensuring effective financial management. * Identify and implement opportunities for service improvement and innovation. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, funders, and other community partners. * Actively participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives. * Drive the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service outcomes. What you will bring | Ngā Pūkenga e Whai ana: * Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the health and disability sector. * A strong understanding of the needs of older people and people with disabilities. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. * Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. * Strong financial management skills, including budget management and reporting. * A commitment to client-centered care and quality service delivery. * Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. * A relevant tertiary qualification (preferred). * A current and full driver's license.
