Despatch Coordinator - Fixed Term

As a Despatch Coordinator at WM New Zealand, you will play a crucial role in the efficient coordination of fleet scheduling, driver management, and the safe handling of hazardous and medical waste. Your responsibilities will involve dispatching jobs ensuring customer needs are met, balancing driver workloads, monitoring routes and ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining excellent customer service standards. This is a fixed term position to cover for parental leave.

• Dispatching jobs to drivers to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery, while prioritizing customer needs.
• Balancing driver workloads and monitoring routes to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensuring drivers have all necessary paperwork and equipment for safe waste collection, including hazardous and medical waste.
• Monitoring and managing jobs that have been rescheduled by drivers, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
• Setting up customer accounts and entering details into the system for new or modified service agreements.
• Responding to customer queries and concerns via phone or email, providing timely and accurate information and assistance.
