Hey! We are vly – an innovative FoodTech startup from Berlin, revolutionizing the food industry. Our goal: healthy, plant-based milk alternatives that not only do you good but also our planet. After years of research, we have developed products that contain significantly less sugar and more protein, with prices awarded and available nationwide – like our milk alternatives made from pea protein and the first soybean protein yogurt.

Design plays a key role for vly. By design, I mean not just a shiny surface. Rather, it's about a systematic and thoughtful approach to address the needs of consumers along the customer journey and what we show through our visual appearance. We want to create a consistent brand experience that people love.

As Designer:in at vly, it will be your Mission to strengthen the branding of the mark and develop its Visual Identity (further) to evolve.

Your role:

• You develop vly's Visual Brand Identity further and design a style guide (colors, typography, graphic elements). This translates our brand values into visual form and strengthens branding and recognizability of the mark.
• You develop innovative concepts and designs in the areas of Print and Digital, including Out-Of-Home, Sponsoring & Events, Trade Marketing & Sales, eCommerce, Packaging, Social Media, etc.
• You design print materials for flyers, brochures, posters, event materials, etc. and take care of printing.
• You (with) organize photoshoots and video shoots together with colleagues from eCommerce & Social Media.

Job requirements:

Your profile:

• Experience: You have 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design or media design and possess fundamental knowledge in the areas of communication design, layout.
• Education: You have a completed degree (Bachelor/Master) in communication design, product design, or equivalent.
• Tools: You master Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop as well as the basics of image editing.
• Language: Your German is on C2 level or mother tongue. Your English is on B2 level or better.
• Startup: You have experience from a dynamic work environment and know how to balance quality with good output.
• Responsibility: You are reliable, detailed, and eager to take on all levels in an ambitious startup.
• Mission: You burn for our brand values: health, sustainability, plant-based nutrition & food.
• Optional: Experience with After Effects, experience in UX/UI design (web design)
