Designer (w/m/d) Geschenkartikel & Print

Tasks

You design with passion and creativity unique gift items, greeting cards, and high-quality paper products. In doing so, you develop new ideas, implement designs, and work closely with the illustration and product development teams to realize innovative and appealing products that cast a smile on others.

Your main tasks at a glance:

• Development of creative ideas and concepts for new gift items and greeting card series
• Designing print designs in different styles
• Preliminary preparation of designs for illustration
• Research on trends, image worlds, and design inspirations
• Participation in the creation of prototypes and samples in close cooperation with product development
• Image editing and visual presentation of design ideas for internal coordination

Qualification

• Professional experience: You have already gained some experience in the field of design, whether through studies, internships or job. What matters more than your career path is your creative strength and enthusiasm for good design.
• Education: You have completed a degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or Media Design, or an apprenticeship as a Media Designer, Design Technician Assistant, Product Designer or Print Technology Engineer. Alternatively, you bring corresponding practical professional experience with you.
• Design competence: You have a secure handling of common graphic or layout programs like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign.
• Industry relevance: Experience with paper products, gift items or cards is a plus, but not a must. What's important is that you enjoy designing beautiful products.
• Working style: You work independently, structured and reliably, find creative solutions and use inspiration sources deliberately for your ideas. Moreover, you take responsibility for your projects.
• Teamwork: You feel at home in a small, family-like team and are happy to be an important part of it.
• Languages: You have very good German language skills and ideally good English language skills.
