Mechanical Designer H/F

Description of functions :

In the context of technical reinforcement and an investment plan at one of our industrial clients specializing in the defense sector, we are looking for a Mechanical Designer H/F.

You will be responsible for:

• Performing theoretical and documentary analyses
• Integrating and defining technical components
• Conception and modeling CAO 3D
• Creating 2D and managing nomenclatures
• Performing technical studies and documentation
• FOLLOWING AND REALIZING CALCULATIONS AND SPECIFIC STUDIES
• Adapting and optimizing existing designs
• Writing technical specifications for equipment
• Coordinating design reviews and technical meetings
• SUITE FABRICATION, PROTOTYPES, AND TESTS
• Conception CAO (Catia) and realization of 2D plans
• Technical support to purchasing, industrialization, and quality teams
• Technical support for warranty service and resolution of technical problems
• Preliminary preparation and management of technical files for suppliers and subcontractors
• Participating in technical meetings with partners and suppliers

You will be directly responsible for the technical and economic responsibility of the project, with mastery of the realization schedule and you will be the interface with different subcontractors.

Will you be our next talent?

• Superior education in mechanics
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design
• Mastery of Catia V5 and 2D plans
• Technical leadership and ability to manage technical subjects
• Able to manage projects independently (budget / deadlines / quality / specifications)
• Practical, hands-on, and team-oriented spirit
• Techincal English (written and oral) required and other languages appreciated
• Mobility for international missions of variable duration
